Madhya Pradesh announces 20,000 education jobs, distributes 954 appointment letters

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a fresh recruitment drive for 20,000 posts in the School Education Department. The announcement was made on October 21, 2026, during a programme in Bhopal, where the Chief Minister distributed 954 compassionate appointment letters to eligible candidates.

At the event held at Ravindra Bhawan, Yadav symbolically handed over appointment letters to 11 candidates and felicitated department officials and employees for their work.

The Chief Minister said that around 15,000 appointments had already been completed in the School Education Department as part of the state government’s recruitment efforts. The upcoming recruitment drive is expected to create further employment opportunities in the education sector.

Yadav also said that approximately 300 appointment and promotion cases were pending and expressed confidence that they would be resolved by the end of the year as vacancies arise through promotions.

In another development, the state government approved the construction of 200 additional Sandipani school buildings, following the inauguration of buildings for 369 such schools. The Tribal Affairs Department will also construct 200 Sandipani school buildings.
